Our Tenets And Doctrines

The following is the code of conduct which forms the rules, regulations and tenets and doctrines of the Celestial Church of Christ. 

• As ordained by the Holy Spirit, Members Are Forbidden From:
• Engaging or participate in any form of idolatry, fetish ceremony or cults, black magic and charms.
• Committing adultery or fornication. Smoking cigarettes or tobacco or snuffing any type of weeds.
• Drinking alcohol, wine and any intoxicants.
• Eating Pork and any food containing pork products or offered as sacrifice to idols/other powers of darkness.
• Going out unnecessarily at night, except for professional reasons.
• Wearing transparent dress while in the Church premises.
• Wearing Red or Black apparel, except for professional reasons.
• Wearing shoes when in Sutana or within the vicinity of the church.
• Sitting male & female members side by side inside the Church.

In Celestial Church of Christ, only white candles are to be used. Coloured candles are strictly forbidden;

Fornication and adultery are forbidden in the Celestial Church of Christ;

Holy is the Celestial Church of Christ and all who worship in her should endeavour to be clean in body and in soul.
Female Members.

Our female members are not allowed to come to the precincts of the church during their monthly cycle until after seven clear days; and where the menstruation extends beyond seven days, two clear days should be allowed for after stoppage before they can come in for sanctification. The sanctification should be done by the shepherd-in-Charge or his appointed representative. Spiritual Items to be used for the sanctification are Soap, Water, Sponge, and a candle stick.

While in the church premises, female members are also forbidden from:

• Entering the altar area or leading the congregation in worship;
• Leaving their heads uncovered.
• Painting their lips and nails.

Male members are forbidden from:

• Wearing their hairs long.
• Putting on ear rings.
